2025 BE BISHOP AWARD WINNER – TEAGAN HUSK
Teagan is a freshman at Huntley High School. Their graduating show with CTE was Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical in which they played Mr. Winksy. This was their 11th show with CTE/FVTC. Previously, they were featured in Annie Jr. as Officer Ward. Music Man has been one of their favorite shows, and there are too many dream roles for them to name! Outside of theatre, they participate in school choir and take vocal lessons.

“They are the constant cheerleader. Their positive attitude, willingness to lend a hand, and humble nature make them the perfect recipient of this award. They are an excellent mentor to their younger cast members, always greeting them with a smile, a high five, or words of encouragement.”
“They have been a shining light within the CTE community. They are known for their unwavering kindness, caring nature, and infectious smile. They consistently go above and beyond to support their fellow cast members and contribute to the success of each production. Over the years we’ve witnessed remarkable growth in their talent and confidence, making them not only a joy to watch on stage but also a cherished member of our theatre family.”
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with them in five separate productions over the past two years, and they have consistently brought the best version of themselves to each and every rehearsal and performance. They spread positivity, individually connect with cast members across all age groups, and have made positive contributions to every single production in which they have appeared. They are the true definition of what it means to be in the theatre community. Kind, caring, supportive, and inclusive. Thank you for everything you’ve brought to CTE and the legacy you leave behind.”
“Some of the things I remember most about Matt Bishop were his way to make sure everyone was included, how he took care of others, and was always supporting us to reach our full potential. Over the time I have known Teagan, they have been one of the greatest assets to their peers to make sure that everyone is taken care of. They go above and beyond in their role not just on stage, but backstage, always ready to lend a helping hand. They offer encouragement to others and embody the true spirit of teamwork and leadership. Teagan’s kindness, reliability, and positive attitude have made a meaningful impact on the entire cast, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone.”
