I am thrilled to share an exciting new chapter for Children’s Theatre of Elgin and Fox Valley Theatre Company!
Our new space, located at 500 Church Road in Elgin, will serve as the home for rehearsals. More than simply a rehearsal space, we hope it will become a welcoming place where creativity grows, friendships are formed, and people of all ages feel inspired to learn, perform, and belong.
We will also be moving our costume shop into this new space. Having our costumes and rehearsals under one roof will make fittings easier and more convenient for our casts while helping each production come to life.
As we settle into our new home, we look forward to creating additional workshops, classes, showcases, and other fun opportunities designed to bring our community together through the magic of theatre. We cannot wait to fill this space with music, laughter, imagination, and unforgettable memories.
Our four main productions will continue to be performed at the Hemmens Cultural Center and Elgin Community College, where our performers can shine onstage for audiences from across the community. From time to time, we may also host smaller showcases and special events at our new Church Road venue.
For generations, our theatre community has been built by the children, families, volunteers, artists, and supporters who believe in the power of theatre. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has helped us reach this exciting moment.
We cannot wait to welcome you into our new home—and to begin dreaming about everything we will create there together!
