ABOUT Jolie Swanson
Jolie Swanson was involved with CTE/FVTC for four memorable years, taking part in four productions that helped shape her passion for the stage. Among her favorites were Beauty and the Beast and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, not only for the excitement of the performances but for the unforgettable connections she made with her fellow cast members. Jolie says the friendships and shared experiences within those productions created too many cherished memories to count. Through CTE, she discovered a deep love for performing and found a supportive community of peers who were just as passionate about the arts as she was.
Now graduating from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point with a degree in Contemporary Vocal Performance, Jolie is excited to return to the Chicago area this May and continue her artistic journey. She credits her time at CTE with giving her the confidence, experience, and community that helped shape her education. Jolie’s story is a testament to the lasting impact of the CTE experience—where creativity thrives, friendships flourish, and futures in the arts begin.
